for Kiki's Paris
Between 1880 and 1930, the center of the art world was arguably a section
of Paris known as Montparnasse. Kiki and her friends (Man Ray, Kisling,
Calder, Picasso, Jean Cocteau, etc.) shocked the establishment with
their art and with their lifestyles. In 1929 Kiki was proclaimed "Queen
of Montparnasse." Kiki was universally loved by all who knew her, and
Url is adding his name to the list.
